Robert D. Margolis, PhD, specializes in the treatment of addictive disorders and has served for many years as the Director of Psychological Services at the Ridgeview Institute. He is a popular CE presenter and the author of many articles and book chapters dedicated to substance use disorders. Dr. Margolis founded the Colleague Assistance Committee for the Georgia Psychological Association and he has advised the American Psychological Association on professional impairment issues. Dr. Margolis received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University and he completed a Predoctoral Clinical Psychology Internship from the Duke University Department of Psychiatry.
