David R. Miller, PhD, is a professor of psychology in the Catherine T. MacArthur School of Continuing Education at Palm Beach Atlantic University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Florida. He is certified as a school guidance counselor in Florida as well as nationally certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors. His books include: Parent Power; Single Moms, Single Dads; Help! Im not a Perfect Parent; A Parents Guide to Adolescence; Tough Kids; Breaking Free; and Counseling Families After Divorce. He has authored numerous articles for both secular refereed journals and Christian magazines. He has conducted Christian counseling training in Ukraine and help parenting and family workshops in South America as well as holding parenting seminars and workshops in churches across America.
