Jane M. Campell, PhD, NCC, ACS, is a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas, a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), and a National Board for Certified Counselors Approved Clinical Supervisor. Over a long career in the field of mental health, she has been in private practice, taught in schools as well as on the faculties of the University of Houston and University of Houston-Clear Lake.

In the late 1990s she was a visiting assistant professor at George Washington University. Dr. Campbell has presented on the local, state, national, and international level on supervision as well as brief psychotherapy intervention strategies, ethics, and grief counseling. In 2000, she published Becoming an Effective Supervisor: A Workbook for Counselors and Psychotherapists, which is based on her experience teaching a 40-hour course for those seeking certification as supervisors in the state of Texas. For the past 5 years she has been crisscrossing the nation teaching clinical supervision to broad audiences in the mental and behavioral health field. Dr. Campbell can be found at drjmcamp@aol.com.
