Gerald Schoenewolf, Ph.D. is a licensed psychoanalyst who has been one of New York's most reputable clinicians for 38 years. During that time he has used a variety of approaches and worked with adults, families, groups and children. He is the author of 13 books on psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, including the best-selling set, 101 Common Therapeutic Blunders and 101 Therapeutic Successes, from which the latest work derives. His other books include The Dictionary of Dream Interpretation, The Couple Who Fell in Hate and Psychotherapy with People in the Arts. He is also an adjunct professor at the Borough of Manhattan Community College and a writer of screenplays, three of which have won first-place awards from major film festivals. He lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, Julia and his parrot, Lucky.
