Edward P. Shafranske, PhD, ABPP, is a professor of psychology, Muriel Lipsey Chair in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, and director of the PsyD program in clinical psychology at Pepperdine University. In addition, he is an associate clinical professor of psychiatry (voluntary), School of Medicine, University of California, Irvine, and maintains a clinical practice in Irvine, California. Dr. Shafranske is an APA fellow (Divisions 12, 29, 36), served twice as president of APA Division 36, and has been recognized for his contributions to the field of psychology by the California Psychological Association.
