This course aims to enrich psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, mental health professionals, addiction professionals, consultants, coaches and serious leaders in the understanding of communication within their teams through the use of structural dynamics theory. The course will offer a background in structural dynamics with in depth coverage of communication differences in low stakes versus high stakes situations. With a focus on leadership behavior in high-stakes situations, the practitioner will be able to intervene effectively in group dynamics and its outcomes. The textbook serves as a go-to resource for understanding and leading groups and teams. Bio: David Kantor, PhD

David Kantor, Ph.D., is a systems psychologist, organizational consultant, and clinical researcher. Formerly Kantor was the head of Monitor Kantor Enterprises (MKE), a business unit of Monitor Group. Kantor has been a professor at Harvard University, Harvard University Medical School, and Tufts University Medical School. He also founded and served as director of the Kantor Family Institute, a postgraduate training center in Boston, and The Kantor Institute, a training center for therapists, consultants, coaches, and leaders.
